Kent Field currently resides with his wife and their 3 grown children on Long Island, NY. Kent has several degrees including an A.A.S. degree in Industrial Engineering, a B.A. & M.A. in Administration & Management, an M.Div in Biblical Theology, and a Doctorate in Administration & Management and Ministry, and is an MCP-MCSE, Certified Systems Engineer in Microsoft Windows NT.

Kent is also a graduate of a prestigious Seminary and has served 20+ years in the Ministry. Through this period in his life, Kent has founded and established successful growing church organizations from just his wife, child and himself to as many as 400 in attendance. He has trained and appointed existing church leadership counsels and boards of directors, delegated responsibilities to successfully trained staff subordinates, and provided Professional Counseling for individuals, couples, family crisis, health, financial and employment. Kent has been directly responsible for teaching and baptizing around 2000 souls into Christ, as well as many weddings and eulogies. Kent also has the distinction of being inducted into ‘The Marquis Who’s Who’ for lifetime achievements in religion and has been an active member of Rotary International, the local Chamber of Commerce and the Long Island Association. He has also authored and published several Books and Articles and is listed in both R&R Bowker’s Authors In Print and Publishers In Print. He is also an experienced public speaker and lecturer of more than twenty years.

Presently, Kent returned to VIA, a full service business solutions and media company he founded, and is acting Director of Interactive Technologies in order to successfully help stabilize it during a difficult economic period. Most recently, as a member of the IIS Program Management team, Kent was the Information Technology Manager for the Logicon Division of Northrop Grumman Corporation responsible for Shared Services supporting Business Management, Human Resources & Administration, and Materiel or AEW & EW Systems. Prior to this, Kent was the Director of Web Development & Design for Cendant Corporation. There he was responsible for organizing the entire department’s staff objectives and talent resource base.  He personally wrote and implemented the CIS Departmental Practices and Procedures Standards. Kent prepared accurate estimates of effort, costs, and delivery timelines for all responsible projects, and controlled allocation of subordinate employee's time on projects. Kent personally participated in the design, architecture, and “look and feel” for Cendant’s Corporate Intranet.

Kent’s skill-set and experience are unique in the industry in that he is considerably more “hands-on” and technically savvy than most other senior level directors. Kent has more than nine years experience in all phases of Research and Development of modern business solutions including Internet Web Site development, E-commerce, Sales, Advertising, Creation, Hosting and maintenance. Kent personally authored and directed the first Web Design Style Guide for Cendant Corporation and all its subsidiary business units. Kent has the experience needed to support area Project Managers by providing them with necessary staffing and support functions. He also supervised Enterprise Architects who are involved in the development, deployment and support of the Enterprise Architecture within an IS environment.

As a published writer, Kent has utilized those skills to Author Project Management Templates including Project Plans, Feasibility Studies, Risk Management Processes, Definition, Issue Management, Change Management and Quality Assurance Plans. Through his extensive Marketing background he has been able to successfully interact with business units/customers in order to maintain high client usability rates and ease of functionality.

Kent has also previously held long-term Senior Level positions in an Internet Based Health and Fitness Information Service, and a Hi-Tech Interactive Internet Based Technology and Marketing Company. In these positions Kent has also managed advertising sales of national and local chains and retailers into interactive advertising kiosks and other venues. And as if this were not enough Kent has also been a Television Commercial Advertising Producer with hands-on experience overseeing all phases of production including, Storyboarding, Scripting, Editing, Voice-overs, Video Shoots and Marketing to local television markets. And he is also experienced in the sales, development and production of Corporate Video and Multimedia CD-Rom Presentations.

Add all this to the fact that Kent is a Certified Microsoft Windows Systems Engineer, (MCSE), and maintains an extensive in-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software systems. He is experienced in the environments: html, java, asp, jsp, xml, .NET, cgi, prl, NT, Unix, SQL, Oracle, DB2, asf, to name a few, making Kent not your typical Manager, and a valuable asset for any organization he is associated with.
